The guide for SSC Examination.

I know every SSC aspirant would be busy searching how to get good scores in SSC Exams in less time. News Flash!!! There is no shortcut only consistency.

Here are the top common mistakes that SSC aspirants make and how to avoid them to succeed in the SSC examination.

Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.

Not following a proper study schedule

The most common mistake made by an SSC examination aspirant is not making a well-balanced schedule. Students often stay up late to study (you know what I mean) and mess up the sleep timings. Another mistake is that they make a schedule but do not follow it.

proper study schedule

How to avoid this mistake:

  • You should make proper time for study and leisure activities like going for a walk, reading novels, or whatever that destresses you.
  • Make notes of the basic concepts and important formulas. Revise it at least thrice a week.
  • Don’t push your work to tomorrow and stick to your schedule. Remember Kal Kare So Aaj Kr Aaj Kare So Ab.

Not doing revision

One of the most common problems that people face is not having enough time to revise. Sometimes they don’t have enough materials to revise from.

Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal.

How to avoid this mistake:

  • Take notes from lectures and revise them twice a week.
  • Read newspapers and daily news online in your free time.
  • Refer to online videos that provide last minute preparation for the SSC exam.

Last minute preparation

Many students tend to leave things for the last minute. This leads to a lack of practice and often students become stressed before the exam. Trying new tricks and methods before the main exam is never a good idea. It is a highly crucial time so taking risks before minimum of 3 months is fine.

How to avoid this mistake:

  • You can refer to last year’s papers. Study them and take notes. Don’t fully depend on them.
  • You should revise the book in your syllabus rather than trying to read multiple books.
  • Nowadays many tests are available online, try solving them it will help you to get familiar with the exam format.

    Emotional distress

It is understandable when parents, teachers, and other well-wishers are worried about their child’s performance in SSC board exams. At times, the emotional stress can be unbearable. As long as there is limited relaxation it is fine but continuous deviation can be fatal.

    How to avoid this mistake:

    • Talk about your problems or pressure with your parents, friends or your teachers. You can also seek help online.
    • Put all your self-efforts and don’t fret about the result.
    • Don’t stress about small things before the exams. It is human nature to forget things.

Finally, the last and important thing is to feel confident. We understand the importance of competitiveness but it is equally important to win the competition within oneself. SSC board exam is probably the first time many students face these things and find it hard. Don’t stress over Sharmaji ka beta and feel confident in yourself.
